Oscar Mendoza, author of “The Book Of The Dead”, is a magnet for the living … AND the dead . You might say that it runs in the family.  While paranormal investigators can turn off their equipment and safely return home, Oscar must face the reality of semi-permanent “guests” that take up residence with him .

The question of why some people can see and hear spirit entities can be pursued along two disparate paths — the biological :where their neurological pathways are configured differently, allowing alternate realms to come into view … and the more metaphysical possibility — that they have been chosen, as ambassadors of the living, to bring back messages from the departed (and in some cases, never mortal at all)…. even if the messages aren’t necessarily meant for human consumption

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”13″ display=”basic_slideshow” transition_speed=”6″]Jack Fischel, American academic and Holocaust scholar, discusses events leading up to and the human psychology behind the Holocaust, where two-thirds of Europe’s Jewish population was executed. Could such large-scale genocide happen again today?

The Holocaust is an extremely complicated topic that goes beyond the pale of a one hour interview but key points such as eugenics, race theory, religious misunderstandings and political power are brought out.

Jack R. Fischel was a professor of history at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where he lectured for 37 years. He currently teaches a pluralism class at Messiah College and is a noted author of several books on the Holocaust (see books section below).

Engineer Larry Arnold has spent decades attempting to recreate an instance of spontaneous human combustion

Can spontaneous combustion, or burning without an external ignition source (gasoline or any other combustible substance) , occur to a human being? To historians the answer has to be “yes”, as there have been reported instances of it occurring for centuries. But consensus within the scientific community is another matter .. in fact, most believe that it is a matter of carelessness or folk lore. Enter Larry Arnold — an engineer by training, whose goal is to replicate spontaneous human combustion. Through experimentation, he explains that which is the most probable cause — quantum mechanics — in terms that non-scientists can understand, while debunking the flawed explanations of the skeptic community

He has been a guest on hundreds of radio and internet-radio programs, including Howard Stern, The Art Bell Show, and multiple episodes of CoastToCoastAM.
